Smart Farming

ABOUT: 

Smart Farming Simulator is a game created for the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 by Team HARVISTA. At the start, you enter your location by latitude and longitude, and the game automatically detects real-world weather, temperature, season, and wind for that area. If it is raining or snowing at your location, you will also see rain or snowfall inside the game. You begin with an initial balance of 500, which you can use to buy seeds and fertilizer. Before planting, you must prepare the soil using a shovel, then plant your chosen seeds. To help crops grow, you need to apply the correct amount of water and fertilizer. These values depend on your local conditions, so adding too little will slow growth while adding too much will kill the plant. Once crops are grown, you can harvest and manage them by selling or storing them. The challenge is to balance resources and adapt to changing conditions in order to grow healthy crops. This project took a long time to build, and although we could not add every possible tool, we are excited to share this experience.

HOW TO PLAY: 

 Movement & Interaction: Use A and D to move. Press E on a grown plant to collect it. To sell or store items, drag and drop them into the Storage Panel. Shovel: Select the shovel and hold Left Mouse Button on the target area to prepare the soil for planting. Seed: Buy seeds from the store. After purchase, go to the Storage Panel to move seeds into your inventory. Right-click on any prepared soil to plant them. Water: Move close to a planted seed, select water, and hold Right Mouse Button on the seed to water it. Fertilizer: Buy fertilizer from the store and move it to your inventory through the Storage Panel. Then move close to the seed, select fertilizer, and hold Right Mouse Button to apply it.
